Today we tested the maximum speed of the ARWIBON GT08 electric scooter, a model advertised with a 40–50 MPH top speed, 5600W dual motors, and off-road tubeless tires.
To ensure accuracy, we used:
A mobile GPS speed-tracking app
The scooter’s built-in display
An external speedometer kit
This gives us the most reliable real-world speed result.
1. Early Acceleration – Smooth Start Around 20 MPH
When starting out, we kept the speed low to observe stability.
During this phase, the GT08 stayed:
? Around 20 MPH, smooth and easy to control.
The acceleration is linear and predictable, perfect for warm-up riding.
2. Moderate Speed on Good Road – Stable at 30 MPH
Once we moved onto better pavement, the scooter quickly climbed to:
? Around 30 MPH, very stable and comfortable.
The power from the dual motors feels strong but controllable at this speed.
This is the ideal cruising range for most riders.
3. Full Throttle Test – Reaching 40+ MPH Easily
When we pushed the GT08 harder, the scooter had no trouble reaching:

? Stable around 43 MPH,
and still had room to accelerate further.
The 5600W dual-motor output is definitely real.
However, beyond 43 MPH, the scooter becomes unstable and starts to shake.
4. High-Speed Issue: Death Wobble (Speed Wobble)
At higher speeds, especially above 40–45 MPH, the scooter shows:
? Handlebar shaking
? Front end instability
? “Death wobble” effect
This is dangerous and common on high-power scooters without stabilization.

Install a steering damper (strongly recommended)
Sit down during high-speed riding to lower your center of gravity
Keep regular speed between 30–40 MPH
Use 40–50 MPH only for short overtakes
Riding too fast without proper stabilization can be very risky.
